March 8, 2022 – WISE Women, Celebrating International Women’s Day 

The coordinators and some beneficiaries of our WISE microfinance program, spent the day in meetings and celebrations to mark our annual gathering for International Women’s Day.

April 18th – Welcome to our new staff member Martha! Martha will work to coordinate all WISE operations as Coordinator. We look forward to your contribution to building our financial model that lifts households through women’s seed funding. 

May 4 and 5, 2022  – Ascendants Program News:

ASCENDANTS is a new program designed to help children attend secondary school. Each child selected is from our partner schools. With parents impacted by COVID closures, many families that would ordinarily scrape the barrel to send their children to school are unable to do so. We are giving a hand-up to these families until things stabilize. 

The Ascendants spent two days – May 4th and 5th at our offices engaging in community work. They helped clean, organise books and sort 1,000’s of books in our storeroom.
